1983
Dale Jensen began his career in construction at just 17 years old, working as a concrete laborer. Within two years, he advanced to the role of concrete foreman, demonstrating strong work ethic and leadership skills. His passion for the industry soon led him to specialize in steel buildings. On March 3, 1983, at the age of 25 and with the support of his wife, Terri, Dale founded Jensen Builders, Ltd. in Fort Dodge, Iowa. With nothing more than a pickup truck and his home garage, he launched the company by taking on small concrete projects—laying the foundation for what would become a respected name in design-build general contracting.
